Providing Scholarships To Help Bridge The Gap To Higher Education
In recognition of Pastor Thomas’ memory, the members established the Geno Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund, a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization. Each year, two deserving high school seniors are awarded $1000 scholarships to advance their educational journeys.
Our Mission
The Geno Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund aims to provide access to postsecondary education for Virginia high school seniors who may lack the financial resources to achieve their educational goals.
We believe that education is a powerful tool capable of transforming individuals, families, communities, and future generations. Our vision is a society where everyone, regardless of financial constraints, has the opportunity to pursue postsecondary education. We are committed to the idea that every individual has the potential to succeed and that education should be accessible to all. By empowering individuals to achieve their dreams, we hope to inspire them to make a positive impact on the world.
