About

Providing scholarships to help bridge the gap to higher education.

OUR STORY

The Geno Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund (GTMSF) was established out of the love and admiration of the members of the Reconciliation Church of God and Christ has for their late pastor and founder, Elder Geno Thomas. Inspired by God, Pastor Thomas dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and educating others. His commitment to education led him to establish and fund the Reconciliation Church of God in Christ Scholarship which benefited the church members. He demonstrated his compassion for education by consistently providing monetary assistance to help others in their educational pursuits. Pastor Thomas will always be remembered and remains a very important part of the church’s history.

In recognition of Pastor Thomas' memory, the members established the Geno Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund, a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization. Each year, two deserving high school seniors are awarded $1000 scholarships to advance their educational journeys.

OUR MISSION

The Geno Thomas Memorial Scholarship Fund was founded, in part, to develop the pursuit of intellect and education in all areas of life by providing scholarships to encourage studies in higher education.
